...the reduction calculator.

This was planned as a calculator to handle the discrepancy between measurements along the skin vs measurements along the bone, but it now merely shows how small that particular issue is. The fabric-stretch calculator does not bother with this calculation.

If you're curious, you can enter your own measurements (I've pre-loaded mine as an example), then press . It requires JavaScript.

The first number on each line is assumed to be the circumference. The second number is either a plain number - in which case it's the distance from some fixed point (eg wrist) - or the number starts with a + sign - in which case it's the distance between this line's circumference and the one above it.

Don't put + anywhere else in it though.
