It's always handy to have a way of getting into and out of a garment, and for a catsuit, that generally means through the neck.
For the time being, I'm not going to cover halters or other necklines that strike me as particularly feminine because I'm only sewing catsuits for myself just now. If I make a dress or something for a lady-friend, or if someone sends me plans for them, I'll fix this.
